Keira Elle is a very bright, lovable young lady at age 10 fighting for a normal life.  At Age 6 she was rushed to emergency with a very high fever, foaming at the mouth and having convulsions September 17, 2025. Under the emergency doctors she was placed into isolation soon after a lumbar punction.... Meningitis! with heavy hearts and no sleep mom at her side isolated, Keira went into cardiac arrest September 21, 2021.  Thank God for the immediate response and quick thinking of the ICU nurses, Keira survived her first cardiac arrest.  Following days, weekes, months... keiras family had no idea what was going to happen.

Following her course in the last 4 years, Keira has had 4 cardiac arrests in total and well over 2000 seizures (stopped counting 2 years ago due to mental health of family) to date. While struggling to be able to keep activity low.....a normal life is hard for Keira. There is no playing in the park, dance classes, running, playing sports, not even being in school.  Keira is apart of the inbound hospital homeschool program and has had much success with an amazing teacher, Ms. V, and her homeschool Elementary, DLE- Most inspirational and supportive Principal and Staff!

While brugada syndrome only happens in males in their 40's from Asian or Mediterranean descent, Keira Elle is known as one of two little girls in the world. While Brugada syndrome is best controlled with an ICD but unfortunately due to the severity of Keira Elle's seizures and the quantity she has daily, she is not eligible for an ICD, and is accompanied with an AED everywhere she goes.

Keira Elle doesn't have the opportunity to attend school as she only able to have home schooling due to her condition for her health protection and trauma offset in surrounding children in a school setting. Keira Elle spends her time indoors while not in the hospital. She is a very shy but lovable little girl who wants to live a normal childhood, to play in the parks, go to school, play sports and dance

Keira Elle needs your help in raising awareness for brugada syndrome... Keira Elle wants to be able to have a cure, or a treatment that will help with a normal life.
